Outcall Thai massage in Bangkok: what to expect in your room

How an outcall Thai massage works in your hotel room or condominium: clothing, pressure and stretching, prices and how to book.

Thai massage is the traditional one, and it works differently from the other eight treatments on our list. You stay clothed and there is no oil. This post explains what an outcall Thai massage looks like in practice, in your own hotel room or condominium, from the booking to the end of the session.

How it differs from an oil massage

Thai massage is worked through loose cotton clothing, so there is no undressing and no oil. The therapist uses palms, thumbs, elbows and their own body weight to press along the lines of the body, and moves you through stretches you would not manage alone.

That makes it the most active treatment we offer. If you want to be left feeling loosened rather than lulled, this is the one to book. If you would rather lie still under a sheet while warmed oil does the work, the oil massage is the better choice. And if you like Thai pressure and stretching but want the feel of oil on skin, the Thai oil massage combines the two.

What to wear

What to wear is simple: loose, light clothing that lets you move. Something you would be comfortable stretching in is ideal. There is nothing else to buy or prepare. The therapist brings clean towels and a disposable sheet that is used once and then discarded.

During the session, tell the therapist if any stretch is too much.

Who comes to your door

Every therapist is certified, with an average of ten years of experience. Every therapist is security checked and health screened before joining. All of our therapists are female.

If you are in a hotel, let reception know a visitor is expected and give them your room number. In a condominium, tell the front desk or security in the lobby. That is the whole arrangement. When the therapist arrives, you open your door to someone you were expecting.

Prices, travel and booking

Thai massage is the lowest priced session on the list, and it is offered at every length:

We are open 24 hours, every day, and the price is the same at any hour. A session at 3am costs the same as one at 3pm. There is no night surcharge.

We come to Sukhumvit, Sathorn, Nana, Phaya Thai, Charoen Nakhon and Charoen Krung. There is no additional travel charge within 7.5 km of each area’s centre. Beyond that, travel is quoted and agreed with you before anyone sets off.

If you have just come in on the Airport Rail Link, the Phaya Thai page explains how booking from the platform works. For everything else about this treatment, see the Thai massage page.

One hour’s notice is all that is needed. Call or send a WhatsApp message with the name of your hotel or building, the area, and the length of session you want. Once the booking is made, a therapist typically arrives within 30 to 60 minutes, depending on traffic and exactly where you are.

To see the total before you get in touch, use the booking estimator. Pick Thai massage, the duration and the area, and the figure it shows is what you will pay, agreed before anyone sets off.

When you are ready, call or message. Put on something loose, and a therapist will be with you within the hour.
